Over the weekend, I was exposed to Yung Simmie. When I heard the chorus 'Florida Nigga Mentality' I was stunned. Like Chief Keef from the interior of Chicago's toughest neighborhoods Yung Simmie evokes the same authenticity of anyone living the life in a major city (such as Miami). Neighborhoods such as Liberty City, or Overtown (considered part of North Miami) could be Yung Simmies place of origin. However, there is little personal information regarding YS.
